Color your own!
Have the kids color their own velociraptor fossil skull. Or....can they use the skull to figure out what the velociraptor may have looked like and draw their own. There are two downloads below - the first is the coloring sheet. The second is a much lighter version that can be used as a base to draw and color what they believe the velociraptor head may have looked like. A photo of the fossil replica I used is at the bottom of the page if you want a reference. This is a photo of a replica from Taylor Made Fossils that I proudly display in my house.
