Here's everything else that you might find handy for a good dinosaur day. Everything from signs to clay to resin.
Just for fun. I mean, come-on...a dig site sign! I couldn't pass this one up.

Plaster of Paris for creating "rock" matrix for fossils. One bucket 8 lb should create a good sized rock matrix - about 12" x 18". You can get this stuff at pretty much any store that has craft supplies and at most hardware stores. This is the kind that I used.

Putty for making cast molds. This isn't clay - it cures into a rubber in about fifteen minutes so it can be reused. It also doesn't stick to the fossils - assuming they've been cleaned. Note - this kit does NOT contain the resin material - you need to purchase that separately... see below.

This is resin that is good for making small fossil cast replicas. It cures to a hard paint ready plastic in about 10 minutes. Don't get it on your fingers.

Self hardening clay for making fossil filler or sculpting fossils. The self hardening stuff is easy to work with and doesn't require ovens or kilns or any of that craziness. You'll want something that doesn't shrink when hardening.

A simple adjustable compartment box - great for storing fossils of varying sizes.
